Nursing Care

On the first floor of Dee View Court we offer constant 24-hour Nursing Care for our residents. Our nursing care is for those of our residents who perhaps have higher dependency needs, residents who live with more restrictive physical disabilities, or those needing end-of-life care, including palliative care.

By using a method of nursing called “key nursing”, Dee View Court assigns one nurse to each resident in order to curate an individual and personal bond. This will ensure that a familiar face is always around to answer any questions you or your loved ones may have.

Dementia Care

At Dee View Court, we’ve always got our residents’ best interests at the heart of everything we do. This is why we offer around-the-clock care and support to those with dementia, as well as their families. Our dementia unit has been beautifully decorated to create a safe and pleasant environment, including coloured bedroom doors, name plagues, signage and contrasting colours on walls and floors.

We provide dementia care on the first floor within a dedicated dementia unit, where we offer a wide range of activities and therapies that are designed specifically for our residents living with dementia. Alongside our dementia unit lead and care assistants, we have a nurse on-site who specialises in dementia care, and collectively they provide effective care for a range of needs.

Residential Care

The residential care we provide at Bothwell Castle is perfect in assisting individuals who may be experiencing challenges in caring for themselves at home, or may just need a little bit of professional support from time to time. It can also be extremely supportive for those who are becoming increasingly lonely and would benefit from some companionship.

Bothwell Castle Care Home is a welcoming and friendly community where residents can enjoy living in a group, whilst also receiving respectful and dignified care that is bespoke to each resident’s specific requirements. Our team shows kindness and compassion and has the knowledge and competency to ensure our residents’ physical, mental and emotional needs are all met.
